Farewell Norman St John Stevas (You say it Norman Singe en btw) You were a Tory wet and my local MP for many years although your visits to our fair town were few and far in between.  I remember having the oddest conversation with you down the line at Essex Radio, that went along the lines of:  Norman: You sound very young how old are you?  Me: 22 years old.  Norman:  How splendid I really must come to your studios in person next time.  RIP Norman
