Save it for the stage

When you come bouncing into the office/newsroom before your show be careful not to get to excited and carried away with the job of preparing the show. There is an old theatre saying 'save it for the stage' and there's a lot to be said for keeping your performance for the radio show, there will be a natural adrenalin rush when you are on air, but you will have more energy through the show.
