Pause For Thought

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

Celebrity Drunks

Here are a few of our favourites: Keith Floyd turned up on his own very very drunk.  Chris sat him down and loooked him in the eye and said "You are very drunk I am going to get a cup of coffee from the canteen and you will sober up and behave or I am not putting you on the radio."  Keith surprisingly responded with "I am very sorry and I promise to sober up."  He did and he was a good guest.

Fanny Cradock not only drunk but abusive to the man on security and the woman on reception.  She didn't get as far as the Producer as the 'lady' was intercepted by staff in news information and thrown out of the building and banned from LBC.

Alex 'Hurricane' Higgins.  Chris described as 'stinking of drink.'  Again he was given a coffee with sugar which he stirred in with one of those plastic stirrers which he then threw on the floor.  Incensed Chris picked the stirrer up plonked it back in his coffee told him "We have bins for that!" at the same time propelling through the studio door.
