Met a guy the other day he was a gym instructor working in the Barbican (London) I asked him what he listened to on the radio? He said he loved LBC and had listened for years. I then asked him to name the presenters he liked? He managed to name a couple of hosts. He said his favourite show was the one at night presented by ... and then he could not remember the name of the presenter - even though he had listened for years. BUT this was a very interesting exercise in how a listener consumes your product. You might think your dear listener is giving their full attention when actually they are only half listening. Tomorrow some ideas on how to up the game and get more attention.
