#ChrisMoyles leaves Radio 1 listeners are shocked, grief stricken and sad. Why should that be? Well the answer lies in the relationship a listener has with their radio and the personalities that populate its airwaves.  Radio is an intimate medium we listen mostly alone in our car, kitchen or on our smart phone. 

A great broadcaster like Chris Moyles tells stories about his life, gives us a personal glimpse of his world, in turn we feel that he is part of our life, he's there at your breakfast table, with you in the car and he has become a friend and many will miss him, personally I can't stand the g*t lol, but I respect him for his talent and achievements.
