Fawlty Pru

Scales admits she has early Alzheimer's.  There were signs of it in the glorious More4 series 'Great Canal Journeys'  she and her husband the actor Timothy West starred in recently.  I've done Pru a couple of times in the past, she a feisty determined lady.  I remember on one of the occasions she said:  "I will talk about Fawlty Towers, but don't expect much, it was a long time ago and I don't remember much about it."

It seems such an unkind twist of fate that her short term memory loss is suffering and has made her long term memories more acute and clear.  If you haven't caught 'Great Canal Journeys' -  the series that ended on Monday night do More4 a view of it.
